Objectives of Project

DiaLIndia 's Mission To provide fast, free, reliable and comprehensive information to our users

and connect buyers to sellers. Its search service is available to users across multiple platforms,

such as the internet, mobile Internet, email.

The various major objectives of the project are listed as:

To Design software: It allows fast search, By interoperating with system such as DiaLIndia 's, a

person can, where necessary, be handed over electronically from DiaLIndia 's to a system, thus

ensuring consistency of customer care and accurate measurement and reporting of the person

journey.

User interface: It’s having a good user-interface. No one needs to learn the special skills and

knowledge. Its menu driven and naive users can use it efficiently without using the concept

using to make the software.

DiaLIndia

Business Logic: This project consists of various logics which are applied in businesses in

organizations. These logics handle the information exchange between the database and user-

interface. They detail the flow of information of various places and companies (food, traveling

agencies,movie theatres,oil etc).

Database Design: Database is designed for the physical storage of people,company,things

details which is the efficient objective of this project. It provides access to up-to-date and

accurate information. Thus it reduces data redundancy.

Feasibilities

Technical Feasibility

This evaluation determines whether the technology needed for the proposed system is available

or not.

• It will avoid multiple file handling

• Registration and query generation is very easy

• The new system provides full security of confidential data

Economical Feasibility

The system will be developed and operated in the existing hardware and software

infrastructure. So there is no need for procuring additional hardware and software for the

system. The proposed will replace the hectic cost and man power involved in the existing

system. The employs will be trained in using and operating the system. Thus the project is

economically feasible for the department

Scheduled Feasibility

The project is assigned to the student as an academic exercise to complete within a fixed

schedule of time. Each module of the system is designed following a specific module in order

to assist the proper accomplishment of all requirements.

The detailed studies carried out to check the work ability of proposed system. A feasibility

study is a test of system proposal regarding to its work ability, impact on the organization

ability to meet user needs an effective use of resources. Thus during feasibility analysis for this

project, following primary areas of interest were considered. Investigating the existing system

in the area under investigation and generating ideas about a new system does this.

This Software Requirements Specification specifies the requirements of the classified system

using which users can search for related content, contact the responsible authority, remain

updated with the ongoing activities and view or download necessary content like forms, news

letters,etc .The purpose of this software requirements specification is to verify that all the

specifications are correct and are verified. This document also serves to ensure that the software

is traceable throughout its software development life cycle.

Existing System

Existing System

The existing system on DialIndia includes  submissions of classifieds forms for months  and

incurs a lot of efforts. So this automated software reduces the complexity on this aspect by

introduction of technique of submitting and confirming the classifieds.

Existing system includes the submission of record in the database manually whereas the

automated system being designed will collect the record online  portal. Moreover, to inform

users about various ongoing activities, the only medium was a website page but with this

system, we have achieved a stronger platform for such publication of latest classifieds.

DIALINDIA BEGINS

DiaLIndia's search service bridges the gap between the users and businesses by helping users

find relevant providers of products and services quickly, while helping businesses listed in

DialIndia's database to market their offerings. DiaLIndia has also initiated its ‘Search Plus’

Services for the users.  These services are aimed at making several day-to-day tasks

conveniently actionable and accessible to the users. With this step, DiaLIndia is transitioning

from being purely a provider of local search and related information to being an enabler of such

transactions. DiaLIndia intends to provide an online platform to thousands of SME’s to get

them discovered and transacted.

It is a combination of a database, file system and such other related modules which are

basically used to store, retrieve and publish data on the Internet. The data thus stored includes

the website content, image files, email enquiry and so on which can be stored, archived and

retrieved at any time.

The system is usually in the form of a web-based application which can then be used to create

and manage content. This web application usually has a graphical user interface (GUI) to

perform the related activities online.

Requirements gathering is an essential part of any project and project management.

Understanding fully what a project will deliver is critical to its success. After the feasibility

study of our project, the requirement elicitation and gathering phase started. The problem in

existing system and the need of new automation software system is identified and now the

requirements of the design of the automation software are to be decided.
