Performance Requirement

Performance Requirement
Performance should not be an issue because our server queries involve small pieces of data. Changing screens will require very little computation and thus will occur very quickly. However, good internet speed is required to view. Hence, good performance is very necessary for any software in order to become user friendly and work efficiently.

Security Requirements
This application assumes that only one who is the admin will have access to the system completely. With that being said, a valid ID and password combination is required to verify the identity of the user upon opening the web application.

Dependability Requirements
The system is dependable as it will be available 24*24. Also the correct content will be provided to the user which would be completely relevant. The system is regularly updated by
the admin.

Look and Feel Requirements
The look and feel of the system will increase user‟s interest. The look will provide the user an easier way to understand and comprehend everything. Also the look will provide the better navigation for the user.

The system shall allow the admin to login and update all the related information. Also the system should allow the admin to contact with the users. Also, the system should then allow the user to view latest information, download the content which is available to be downloaded, ask and answer questions in the forum and take part in various ongoing activities. The system should also allow the users to send mail to the admin in case of any problem.

Data Requirements
Inputs: The system needs the Id and the password of the admin to provide access to all the functions of the system. The system requires the user to update the ongoing activities about classifieds. Also the user can communicate with the outside world. The user also updates information regarding the team members of the organization and also provides information material useful to its viewers

Output: The user can view  essential information. They can also connect to the admin through this system. The company can also view recruitment information like facilities, records, etc. Through this, they can gain knowledge about the recent classifieds.

This project is importance in large and small institutes where data can be stored, retrieved and

archived via a computer network or via the Internet. You as website owner will be able to

add/edit the content of the different pages as easily as typing in any text editor such MS Word.

DiaLIndia dynamically created when user visits (click on the particular link).

You can make content edits to your website pages without any knowledge of web

programming. You don‟t need to be a web programmer. A computer savvy person can easily

To Design software: It allows fast search, By interoperating with system such as DiaLIndia 's, a

ensuring consistency of customer care and accurate measurement and reporting of the person

User interface: It’s having a good user-interface. No one needs to learn the special skills and

system. The proposed will replace the hectic cost and man power involved in the existing

system. The employs will be trained in using and operating the system. Thus the project is

economically feasible for the department

The project is assigned to the student as an academic exercise to complete within a fixed

Existing System

The existing system on DialIndia includes  submissions of classifieds forms for months  and

incurs a lot of efforts. So this automated software reduces the complexity on this aspect by

introduction of technique of submitting and confirming the classifieds.

Existing system includes the submission of record in the database manually whereas the

automated system being designed will collect the record online  portal. Moreover, to inform

users about various ongoing activities, the only medium was a website page but with this

system, we have achieved a stronger platform for such publication of latest classifieds.

DIALINDIA BEGINS

DiaLIndia's search service bridges the gap between the users and businesses by helping users

find relevant providers of products and services quickly, while helping businesses listed in

DialIndia's database to market their offerings. DiaLIndia has also initiated its ‘Search Plus’

Services for the users.  These services are aimed at making several day-to-day tasks

conveniently actionable and accessible to the users. With this step, DiaLIndia is transitioning

from being purely a provider of local search and related information to being an enabler of such

transactions. DiaLIndia intends to provide an online platform to thousands of SME’s to get

them discovered and transacted.

It is a combination of a database, file system and such other related modules which are

basically used to store, retrieve and publish data on the Internet. The data thus stored includes

the website content, image files, email enquiry and so on which can be stored, archived and

retrieved at any time.

The system is usually in the form of a web-based application which can then be used to create

and manage content. This web application usually has a graphical user interface (GUI) to

perform the related activities online.

study of our project, the requirement elicitation and gathering phase started. The problem in

existing system and the need of new automation software system is identified and now the

requirements of the design of the automation software are to be decided.

language (means that scripts execute without preliminary compilation). JavaScript is Case 

Sensitive and ignores extra spaces. JavaScript is an Object Oriented Programming (OOP) 

language. An OOP language allows you to define your own objects and make your own 

variable types.

HTML

HyperTextMarkup Language (HTML) is the main mark-up language for web pages. HTML 

elements are the basic building-blocks of webpages.HTML is written in the form of HTML 

elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets (like <html>), within the web page 

content. The purpose of a web browser is to read HTML documents and compose them into 

visible or audible web pages. The browser does not display the HTML tags, but uses the tags to 

interpret the content of the page.HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites. 

HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. 

It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text 

such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other items. It can embed scripts in 

languages such as JavaScript which affect the behaviour of HTML webpages.

JDBC

JDBC

It is Java application programming interface that allows the Java programmers to access

database management system from Java code. Java Database Connectivity is similar to Open

Database Connectivity (ODBC) which is used for accessing and managing database, but the

difference is that JDBC is designed specifically for Java programs, whereas ODBC is not

depended upon any language.

Connector used in this project is mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin. JDBC stands for Java

Database Connectivity, which is a standard Java API for database-independent connectivity

between the Java programming language and a wide range of databases.
